Nothing makes the world of fashion turn colourful like Paris Fashion Week. This particular season what really stood out was the gleet and glam of all sort of makeup. We could not help it but highlight a peek of the glamorous makeup moments that highlighted the show. Please keep reading to learn how you can incorporate glitter into your everyday makeup routine
- Glitter faces and major eyeliner were the beauty trends to close out fashion month.
Models took the Parisian runways this season wearing a face-full of glitter (literally), sport eyeliner, dominatrix braids, and eyelids covered in real gold foil. Sporty lines in shades of orange and blue were swished across the eyelids of select models at Louis Vuitton
- Maison Rabih Kayrouz
Upgrade your cat-eye like the one seen backstage at Maison Rabih Kayrouz: instead of lining only your top lashline, connect the wing to your lower lashline as well. Stop the line about half-way across your lid for the most eye-opening effect. This look draws attention to your pupil and makes it appear large not to mention the beautiful colours that are drawn under your browse. This look is can be used instead of wearing a mask during special occasions.
- Multicoloured Glitter
Multicoloured glitter lips that can (and should!) only be created by legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath made their way down the Maison Martin Margiela runway. The colour is beautiful and makes the lips appear larger. This is a plus for women who love big lips. The shimmer itself is breathtaking. So gorgeous!
- Graphic black eyeliner
Graphic black eyeliner got the sweet and feminine Miu Miu treatment thanks to a swipe of glossy fuchsia lipstick. And yes, that is Elle Fanning making her catwalk debut. The effect that the eyeliner leaves under the eyelid is so well detailed. There was no need to do the eyebrows’.
As models stomped their wall through crunchy leaves on the Chanel runway in Paris, their hair looked as if they were running from class to class on the campus of a New England University. It was pulled into a perfectly messy bun by hairstylist Sam McKnight, and then secured with an oversize double-c pin. Their looks remind us the 90s.
- Gold Glitter Eye Eyeshadow
The only thing better—and more runways—than gold glitter eyeshadow? Sheets of gold foil delicately pressed along the lids, as seen backstage at Akris. The glitter was so beautiful there was no need to do the eyebrows’. This look is perfect for a date night.
